Temporary semi-protection: The federal election is coming tomorrow, and there has been IP/unregistered vandalism that has slowly been increasing in frequency in the past few days. By tomorrow, the the vandalism is likely to multiply exponentially if left unprotected since the daily pageviews is basically guaranteed to also significantly increase. Declined – Likely collateral damage as one or several users who are making improvements would be affected by the requested protection. I can see more positive (or at least good-faith) edits from IPs than obvious vandalism among the most recent several days. Jayron32 12:07, 20 May 2022 (UTC)

Declined This is a borderline case, most of the contested changes are good faith differences in understanding about the timing of the status; plus they are coming from both autoconfirmed accounts and IPs. It's mildly annoying to have to correct this, but the potential for collateral damage seems to outweigh that. Stay vigilant, but I can't see any legitimate policy violations (rather than differences in understanding of sources) that protection would ameliorate. Jayron32 12:13, 20 May 2022 (UTC)

Jayron32, It wasn't a misunderstandings or something like that, anonymous users are continously adding original research.
