ChatBot is one of the major platforms for creating chatbots and integrating them with apps and services. The parent company of ChatBot is LiveChat. It made its services free of charge for all Ukraine related businesses when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
ChatBot in its current form was launched on February 21, 2018.[1]
In March 2018, BotEngine was released from beta version.[2]
In October 2019, ChatBot added a feature to collect customized data about visitors who interacted with bots on websites or Facebook.[3]
In May 2020, ChatBot in partnership with Infermedica launched COVID-19 Risk Assessment ChatBot.[4]
In March 2021, ChatBot launched a new version of Visual Builder.[5]
In May 2022, ChatBot donated to the Ukraine aid program $1.5 mln.
Overview
ChatBot is a platform for building automatic chatbots using artificial intelligence.[6]
ChatBot constructs bots using integration with a range of tools including Facebook Messenger, LiveChat, Skype, KiK, Slack, Twitter and YouTube.[7][8][9]
In 2020, the number of ChatBot clients reached 1000, including[10] UEFA, Unilever, HTC, Kayak, Danone, Moody’s, GM.[11][12]
