SEA BALOON IDEA - a rain harvesting float for waterbodies

My idea is to create something to harvest rather clean rain water on a waterbody (like a lake or even the sea).

This can be used so supply boats or ships or something on showe with drinking water.

In detail this would be something like a remote controlled inflatable swimming pool but larger that can be moved around and back to shore to deliver the water for use.

I imagine the circle like structure to be flexible in a sense that once it starts to fill it will contract into a kind of balloon of drinking water. That balloon has floating devices around it to keeping it from mixing with the possibly contamitate lake water or from salt water on the sea. Basically0 a ring of some kind of boie that would keep the whole structure afloat and separated from the surrounding lake or sea water.

For this it needs an extra weight in the middle of the circle like structure. Basicall it would look like a submerged water balloon surrounded by lake/sea water.

Once a sufficent amount of rain is harvested one can then transfer it in one of two ways. The first way is to transport it to a ship and then use the ship to either process it or transport it to where it is needed at the shore. The secont more complicated way might be to move the new ballon structure to shore, maybe that is more doable on a small scale.

This would help to generate water by avoiding the rain to fall into salt water or a possibly unclean lake.

I know this might sound a bit far fetched but please let me know what you think. Thank you for your time!

How to create a category

Let us say you have thought of a new category you want to place some articles in. To create this new category, go to one of the pages that you wish to put there, and add a category tag naming the new category to the end of the article, like this:

[[Category:Category name]]

...where in place of category name you type the actual name of the category. When you save the page, the category should appear on the bottom line of the page. If it is indeed a new category, it will turn up in red. But this does not mean there is no such category: it might exist but with a slight difference in naming. Before you create a new category, make sure it does not already exist. In a new browser window, click on Special pages in the toolbox menu on the left side of your screen. Then click on All pages. Pick Category from the Namespace dropdown menu, and then enter the name of the category. Look over the index for synonymous categories.

Once you are sure your new name is good to go: Click on the redlink, and then click on the article creation link provided in the instructions that appear on your screen.

You will need to put a parent category on the new page, and then save the page. Going forward you can put your newly named category at the bottom of pages that you wish to add your new category to. Categories with too few pages in them are usually nominated for deletion.
