This seems to be about the CAPTCHA. Replied at User talk:216.115.133.25#AFC submission issue. Have also updated /editintro to make a note of the manual way to submit (though the CAPTCHA is still required for that). – SD0001 (talk) 03:31, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

Click the submit button, something flashes that says processing, then goes away. I would expect to get a submission confirmation if it went well or or an error report if not. @SD0001, yes. I think it was in the form of a question, like "does this page title exist?" or "ensure it the page title does not exist." Like it had not changed from before when it was blank. I had checked to ensure the new page title is unique before I began. I was expecting a check box or something to validate that it is a unique title. HnHCDR (talk) 10:00, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

@HnHCDR Generally if there's an issue with the draft title, a validation error just under the title input. In all other cases, errors are shown close to the submit button. Let me know if you are not able to submit your draft. – SD0001 (talk) 15:07, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

Your sandbox page was deleted for being pure promotion, as was explained to you at the Teahouse. So this is question is moot. However, the title of a draft is often determined by the reviewing editor at WP:AFC, so it not something that needs to be worried about. If a clear title cannot be discerned from the submitted article, that would suggest there is something seriously wrong with it, and the submitter would soon be informed via the usual feedback process. While Nick Moyes is right regarding article titles, for the purpose of submission process the draft title is just the name of the page you're submitting, which in this case would have been "User:Kowser CS/sandbox". – SD0001 (talk) 15:05, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

Wizard adds project banner outside shell

Back in March, an edit using the tool added a banner to the talk page of a draft, but did not put it in the banner shell. I've moved it, but it may still be a bug! SWinxy (talk) 18:19, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Yes, it's a more of a limitation than a bug. Detecting the banner shell and putting tags inside it is a bit tricky. Happy to review a patch if anyone wishes to fix this, or maybe I'll get to it myself some day. – SD0001 (talk) 06:15, 13 August 2022 (UTC)

@Magnus the Great Some of the categories are applied automatically based on mw:ORES predictions. In rare cases like this one, they can be wrong. You can remove or replace the category by editing the {{Draft topics|stem}} text in the article. – SD0001 (talk) 05:41, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

I would like this page reconsidered. The references are listed on the page. At your request, I can send a PDF file that shows the references. Has the citation formatting changed? Please let me know if I have to redo the listing. I did both internal Wikipedia links and links to external sites. The first reference was to the obituaries at the "New York Times," which should establish notability.
