Thanks for the help on the cleanup of the AT4 article. Looks a LOT better. Editing is not my strong suit. Again, thanks.--Jackehammond (talk) 19:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Wikiproject Military history coordinator election nominations open
Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election have opened. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting will commence on 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. Welcome

Hey there, GMan552. Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedian and decide to stay! Here are a few good links for newcomers (or "oldcomers" for reference):

By the way, you should sign and date your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. Three tildes (~~~) produces just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Great, just what we need around this place... more Feds. :) Cheers. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 19:18, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nah, the "GMan" refers to a variation of my nickname in the military, not to any connection with the FBI. GMan552 06:16, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome! I appreciate your fresh set of eyes to "trim out the fat" in existing gun-related topic articles; Bluing (steel), Kel-Tec P-32, etc.. Your POV should also help balance the editing! Thanks! Yaf 00:03, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Firearms

Welcome to the WikiProject Firearms. I hope you enjoy being a member.--LWF 22:57, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your copy edit work on Topfmine

Good work. I tend to make lots of silly little mistakes when I work on articles. If you have any interest in the area - I'm slowly working on filling out the red links on List of landmines. Welcome to wikipedia. Megapixie 07:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Designated marksman edits

Hi GMan, I noticed your edits to this article and wanted let you know that you shouldn't remove the Imperial units. I'm not sure what your location is but in North America most people involved with firearms, use and think in terms of yards and grains. So please don't forget to include them in your editing of firearm articles. Also, I notice that you changed a range at the bottom of the article from 600 m to 800 m. Without some type of reference, you run the risk of having this edit reverted; I won't do it, but I've seen it before at M14. At the M14 article, there was an argument over the range of that rifle. The solution of that argument was to have references for the ranges. Just a couple things to keep in mind. Regards —MJCdetroit 03:23, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MJCDetroit,

Good point, I'll fix the units (if they haven't been already.)

Suppressor

Hi. On "legal status" paragraph about suppressors in Italy, you've fix my edit (that's good), but you have also change a little the meaning... [1]. You've wrote "law enforcement personnel", in place of my "special forces"...that's not really correct because Police(for example) in Italy cannot use suppressors, but only special forces divisions can do it. This is because of italian laws about weapons are very strict, and weapons with suppressors are categorized as military weapons of wars. Bye!:)--DrugoNOT (talk) 17:09, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

M-1 Carbine Revert War

The M1 carbine article is currently on lock down. An administrator has requested some discussion from memeber of the Firearms Wikiproject. Can you take a look? Sf46 (talk) 19:11, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The AT4 article

Thanks for the help on the cleanup of the AT4 article. Looks a LOT better. Editing is not my strong suit. Again, thanks.--Jackehammond (talk) 19:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
