Until 18 July 2020, Zabolotiv belonged to [[Sniatyn Raion]]. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast to six. Zabolotiv (Ukrainian: Заболотів; Polish: Zabłotów; Yiddish: זאַבלאטאוו, romanizedZablotov) is an urban-type settlement in Kolomyia Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, western Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Zabolotiv urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[1] Population: 3,914 (2022 estimate).[2] In 2001, the population was 4,129.
