== Changes to Death of Eleanor de Freitas ==

Hello, Isaidnoway. You recently reverted back some changes to "The Death of Eleanor de Freitas". Please could you change it back on the following basis. The Copyright of the Court of Appeal belongs to the Crown. The bailii website whom you state owns the copyright, in fact copied the judgement themselves onto their website, they are not the copyright owner, so there are no infringements to them. Court of Appeal Judgements in England are subject to an "open licence" when it comes to Copyright, which means anyone can copy them. Which is why bailii can copy it, and why wikipedia or anyone else can copy it. A court judgement is a public document, it is not w work of literature of a commercial work. So please could you change this back, on the basis there is no copyright infringement. Folks, it is 2024, there is nothing wrong with using LGBTQ as an acronym on Wikipedia

Attention editors

It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like: "What about lunch?"

                                                                              A. A. Milne

Did you know that honey will last forever?[1] When excavating ancient Egyptian tombs, archeologists have found pots of honey amongst the tombs artifacts, thousands of years old, but yet still preserved.[1] Fun fact: Winnie-the-Pooh loves honey.[2]

Steve Hilton

Hello, Isaidnoway. Thanks again for hearing me out with my request to update the Steve Hilton article. The wording you suggested is better than what is on the live page now, so I am OK with it. If you have time, I'm wondering if you could update the article on my behalf, as I have a conflict of interest. Thanks. SKflo (talk) 14:57, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to hear from some other editors as well on this request. ⋆。°✩🎃✩°。⋆ Isaidnoway (talk) 16:27, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Buhlmann decompression

Hello Isaidnoway, I saw you reverted the supression of some unsourced text on the Buhlmann decompression article. As you correctly noted the text was sourced, although you probably didn't notice that it's referenced to a self-published source written by the author of the text in the article. 2A01:E0A:D60:3500:A6A4:5D7F:7F9D:4716 (talk) 11:55, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Anne Edwards

es. I am Anne Edwards' daughter, Catherine Edwards Sadler.
She died on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in Beverly Hills at 7:30 am. https://www.instagram.com/p/C2Yobspp1QqGzzP7SfftW350BLtwk-yxomucH80/?img_index=1 If I am not a reliable source, I don't know who is. We are filing an obituary with the LA Times and perhaps this update has to wait until then. I know my brother, Michael Edwards https://www.instagram.com/p/C2acdWcR1B6/ tried to add the death date as well, given she is a public figure and felt it important for it to reflect her passing. I have been told by the funeral home that the city of Los Angeles takes a good 5-6 weeks week for the death certificate and that seems like a long time to have incorrect information about her on Wikepedia. 76.170.48.250 (talk) 23:50, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
76.170.48.250 — I am very sorry for your loss, you have my deepest sympathy. Per our policies, we do require a published reliable source for confirmation on the date of death. Your mother appears to be a well known biographer, so I checked with some major newspapers like The New York Times and The Washington Post, etc. and they are not reporting her passing away yet. As soon as you are able to get a obituary published, please reach out and let me know, and I will assist you in updating her article. In the meantime, I will keep checking the newspapers to see if they have reported it. I understand this is a difficult time for you and your brother, but our policy is really strict on reporting deaths. Thank your for reaching out, I appreciate it.
