The 2023–24 Big 12 men's basketball season will began with the start of the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Regular season conference play will begin in December 2023 and conclude in March 2023. The 2024 Big 12 men's basketball tournament will be held March 12–16, 2024, at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
This will be the first and only season for the Big 12 Conference with 14 teams before expanding to 16 teams in 2024.
