Mustafa Moien Mahmoud Ayyash, commonly known as Mustafa Ayyash, is a Palestinian journalist. He is the founder and director of Palestine-based news channel Gaza Now. He was arrested by the Austrian Police on the allegation of financial help to Hamas during the Israel–Hamas war.

Mustafa Moien Mahmoud Ayyash, commonly known as Mustafa Ayyash, is a Palestinian journalist. He is the founder and director of Palestine-based news channel Gaza Now. He was arrested by the Austrian Police on the allegation of financial help to Hamas during the Israel–Hamas war.

Early life and education

Mustafa Moien Mahmoud Ayash was born in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip on September 18, 1992 in a Palestinian muslim family.[1] He studied radio and television, business administration, and Palestinian studies and research. He completed his primary and middle school studies in UNRWA refugee schools, finished high school at the Khaled Bin Al-Walid School in the Nuseirat camp, and completed his university studies at the University College of Applied Sciences affiliated with the Islamic University of Gaza. Ayyash moved on to complete his university studies at the Al-Ahliyya Amman University in Jordan, then he moved on to complete his studies at the Karabük University in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his studies at the Palestinian Refugee Academy in Britain.
