Greenland: Migration is an upcoming American post-apocalyptic survival thriller film being directed by Ric Roman Waugh and serves as a sequel to the 2020 film, Greenland. It is estimated to be released around late 2024 and early 2025.
Synopsis

Cast
- Gerard Butler as John Garrity
- Morena Baccarin as Allison Garrity
- Roger Dale Floyd as Nathan Garrity
Production
In June 2021, it was announced a sequel titled Greenland: Migration was in development, and the following month, STX acquired the worldwide distribution rights for the film at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival for $75 million[3] and agreed to give the sequel a $65 million budget. It was put into bankruptcy protection,[4] the cast returned, and while Morena Baccarin was initially reluctant, she eventually agreed return for the sequel.[5]
Filming
Principal photography began on April 29, 2024, in the United Kingdom and Iceland.[6][7]
