Barbaras rhabarberbar also known as "Barbara's Rhubarb Bar" is a German tongue-twister rap song that went viral on TikTok in 2024.[1] It tells the story of a woman named Barbara who bakes an amazingly good rhubarb pie and opens a bar to sell it. However, the bar becomes frequented by Barbarians who come so often the bar becomes known as the Barbarian rhubarb bar. In turn, the hairy Barbarians go to see the local barber for them to cut their hair and trim their beards.[2]

After being recorded by German music comedian Bodo Wartke and performed by Wartke and Marti Fischer, the TikTok rap was set to dance by two Australian TikTok creators in March, 2024. By May, 2024, it had gone viral, receiving more than 62 million views.[3]

Due to a change in policy restricting TikTok permissions from Universal Music Group, feeds began to include more original, rather than recycled, content.[4] The algorithm pushed Wartke's song into the spotlight, where it trended quickly.[5]
