Griffin Peebles (born 28 February 2008) is an Australian racing driver who is competing in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship driving for MP Motorsport.
Career
Spanish Formula 4
2023
Peebles drove his debut year in single seaters in Spanish Formula 4 with Tecnicar Motorsport Solutions[1] where he scored his first and only point of the season at the 1st race of the Circuit of Jerez. He would go on to finishing 25th at the end of the season.
2024
Peebles joined MP Motorsport for his second year of Spanish Formula 4[2]. Off to a rocky start of the season Peebles would fail to score points in the first weekend of the season where rookie teammate Luca Fluxa would win the first race from pole position and the third race after bringing out a red flag[3].
Formula Winter Series
2024
Peebles participated in the 2024 Formula Winter Series with MP Motorsport. Peebles got his first podium in the first race of the season at the Circuit of Jerez where he would also achieve his first win of the season in the second race of the weekend[4]. At the next race on the Circuit Ricardo Tormo Peebles appeared on the podium in all 3 races taking the Championship lead from Cárdenas[5]. The third race weekend of the season at MotorLand Aragón would prove to be a more difficult one as Peebles only scored points twice with a best result of 4th in Race 3 of the weekend while new teammate Keanu Al Azhari managed to get a win and second place in his first races of the season[6]. Peebles still kept the lead going into the last weekend of the season. Going into the race weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya the first race would be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. The second and third race would go ahead, both races were won by Peebles claiming the title in the last race against Andrés Cárdenas who drove for Campos Racing[7].
