Skank

Skank is a Brazilian pop/rock/reggae band. The band was born in 1991, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.

Skank is a band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in Brazil. Some of their hits are "É Proibido Fumar", "Te Ver", "É uma Partida de Futebol" and "Garota Nacional".

Discography

The band made a relatively huge success with its first album, Skank, in 1993, in the underground circuit. Some months later, with a contract with Sony in their hands, they finally officially released the album, which sold 150,000 records.

So far, the band released six other albums:

Skank is one of the most famous bands in Brazil. As of 2004, they have sold approximately 5,000,000 copies of their albums.
