The Brethren of the Coast is a meeting of the nine pirate lords in the upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. They each have a special piece of eight to signify that they are a pirate lord.[1]. The meeting includes two previously established characters as well as a group of new characters;
- Jack Sparrow: Pirate lord of the Caribbean.
- Hector Barbossa: Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea, responsible for stealing a bushel of apples, staging a mutiny (the mutiny of the Black Pearl), and cruelty to animals.
- Sao Feng: A Chinese pirate, lord of Singapore and the South China Sea. Wanted for torturing innocent victims with water and steam.
- Capitaine Chevalle: A French pirate guilty of attempting to steal from the Swiss Bank. He is the lord of the Mediterranean Sea.
- Amand the Corsair: Guilty of numerous crimes against the Church. He is the lord of the Black Sea.
- Mistress Ching: A Chinese pirate who has sacked numerous villages and commands a vast fleet of junks. She runs a bordello and gambling house, and cuts off ears as souvenirs. She is the lord of the Pacific Ocean.
- Sumbha Jee Angria: An Indian pirate who attacks numerous East India Trading Company ships and blockaded Bombay port. He is the son of Kanhoji Angria. He is also the lord of the Indian Ocean.
- Gentlemen Jocard: An African pirate who led a slave insurrection and constantly battles the British Empire. He is the lord of the Atlantic Ocean.
- Captain Vallenueva: A Spanish pirate wanted for gold pilfering and piracy in the Spanish Seas. He is the lord of the Adriatic Sea.
Some other famous pirates will be on the meeting, although they are not pirate lords.
