Aliano is a town and comune in the province of Matera and is 90 kilometers distance from Matera, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata. Aliano belongs to the province of Matera. It has a population of 1284 people with a population density of 13.31 inhabitants per kilometer and covers 96.5 square kilometers. It is also 498 meters above sea level.
