This is a list of some of the many available Firefox extensions, software add-ons designed for Mozilla Firefox based web browsers. Many Firefox extensions work in the SeaMonkey web browser as well.

For a more complete list, see the official repository. [1] As of April 30, 2007, there were 2286 extensions available from the Firefox Add-ons repository website.

Google

  • Google Browser Sync - allows users to store Firefox bookmarks, browsing history, persistent cookies, and saved bookmarks on Google's servers so that when using firefox on a different computer, the information will be accessible on that computer as if it were their normal browser.
  • Google Notebook - allows users to access the service without navigating away from their current webpage, allowing highlighted text and images to be added to a user's notebook without the need for copy-pasting.
  • Google Toolbar - provides features related to Google Search as a toolbar.
  • Google Web Accelerator - is a web accelerator.

  • Chatsum - allows users to chat with people visiting the same website.
  • Chipmark - automatically syncs bookmarks across multiple machines
  • Googlepedia - shows users Wikipedia articles along with their Google search results.
  • Joga.com Companion - creates a visual theme for Mozilla Firefox as well as providing tools relating to the 2006 FIFA World Cup and Joga.com
  • LibX - library catalogues
  • StumbleUpon - allows users to encounter random sites based upon the rating given by stumblers and their interests.
