Ibiza Airport (IATA: IBZ, ICAO: LEIB) is the airport serving the Balearic island of Ibiza.

Terrorism alert summer 2007

After the Basque separatist organization ETA declared an end to a unilateral ceasefire on 5 June, Spain has been apprehensive about new terror attacks. On June 30 Ibizan police carried out a controlled explosion at the Ibiza Airport after Basque newspaper Gara, often used for claims by ETA, said it had received an anonymous threat.[1] The TV channel CNN+ has reported that the detonated package was in fact harmless.[2]
