Ricky Tucker played defensive back for the University of Alabama from 1977 to 1980. He played for college coaching legend Paul "Bear" Bryant. Tucker earned All-Freshman honors as well as 2nd team All-SEC. He finished his career with 11 interceptions and 27 passes broken up which is 4th in school history. He had a two interception game against Mississippi State in 1978 and a game saving interception as a freshman against the Georgia Bulldogs. |
