Flesh-n-Bone

Stanley Howse, (born on June 10, 1974) better known as Flesh-n-Bone, is a member of the rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Also known as Fifth Dawg and Stack.

He is the older brother of Layzie Bone, as well as the cousin of Wish Bone. As an original member of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, he is known for his quick-tongued, energetic, and forceful style. At the time of their very first underground album release, titled Faces of Death, Flesh was not a part of the group. Flesh was featured on E 1999 Eternal and Art of War though he never signed to Ruthless Records with the rest of the group. However, he was heavily featured on BTNHResurrection, appearing on 14 out of 15 tracks.

Flesh-n-Bone is possibly best known for his style of rapping. He mixes multiple vocal layers into his verses, harmonizing twice and sometimes three times.

In 2000, Flesh-n-Bone was sentenced to 11 years in prison, due to a parole violation, in which he threatened an ex-associate with an AK-47. Flesh-n-Bone claims that spending time in prison has afforded him "certain blessings [he] once thought unimaginable," and explains that he is "on a higher level in life". Flesh-n-Bone is expected to be released on parole around mid 2008.

Producers sought to showcase Flesh-n-Bone's sound on a track for Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's CD, Strength and Loyalty, with a track known as "Into the Future". Unfortunately the track never made it to the album.
