Merope (mair'-a-pee) was the name of several, probably unrelated, characters in Greek mythology.
- Merope, one of the Heliades, daughter of Helios.
- Merope, foster mother of Oedipus, wife of Polybus.
- Merope, one of the Oceanids, daughter of Oceanus and Tethys, mother of Phaëton by Helios or Clymenus.
- Merope, one of the Pleiades, daughter of Atlas and Pleione. She married a mortal, Sisyphus, and was thus the faintest star in the star cluster that bears their name. With Sisyphus, she had one son: Glaucus.
