I think the whole part about where he played with van Nistelrooy should be changed as it's a bit out of date now. Something like "He usually played as a second striker to Louis Saha for his club team however the 07/08 season has seen him playing in a more centre forward role with new signing Carlos Tevez playing as second striker" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andy86 (talk • contribs) 00:29, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Is it worth mentioning that Rooney's vast wealth comes partly from 'human rights friendly' Coca Cola and Nike? Would it be worth adding a section called 'HOW Wayne's Sponsor's are able to pay one person so much money', or maybe one called 'Is Wayne Rooney tarnished by his sponsorship deals?'

Career Injury History

Rooney has been prone to foot injuries, made infamous during Englands last major International Tournament where he was a bit-part player due to being selected when not 100% fit.

Rooneys latest injury set back was caused against Reading on the opening day of the 2007-2008 Premiership season. Under a challange from Michael Duberry he suffered a hairline fracture of the left foot and is due to be out for 4-6 weeks. Seymour69er 18:55, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dynamo Brownwings?

Surely that's not a real team name —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.163.53.22 (talkcontribs) 15:42, 14 August 2007

Very factual... NOT

The date is the 16th September and I have just been reading the Disciplinary Action section. It seems some Portuguese idiot has said that the English always look for an excuse or some deluded shit like that. Portugal are a crap team of divers. With our magnificent Owen injured and our brilliant Rooney sent off you still couldn't beat us in normal time or extra time. To the person who wrote that crap about England, first learn proper grammar before you post it on a Wikipedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.219.95.3 (talk) 08:08, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Portugal did progress though, thats the important thing --86.149.46.20 15:45, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated

Riveness 14:58, 9 November 2007 (UTC) England goals section has repeated entries. Too games against Crotia and Switzerland on the same days?[reply]

No, he scored two goals in each of those matches, so he gets two entries in the table. -- Arwel (talk) 00:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date

I think the whole part about where he played with van Nistelrooy should be changed as it's a bit out of date now. Something like "He usually played as a second striker to Louis Saha for his club team however the 07/08 season has seen him playing in a more centre forward role with new signing Carlos Tevez playing as second striker" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andy86 (talkcontribs) 00:29, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rooney's Sponsorship Deals

Is it worth mentioning that Rooney's vast wealth comes partly from 'human rights friendly' Coca Cola and Nike? Would it be worth adding a section called 'HOW Wayne's Sponsor's are able to pay one person so much money', or maybe one called 'Is Wayne Rooney tarnished by his sponsorship deals?'
