Backstory

The backstory from "Knuckles Chaotix" that someone just put in here is from the US manual, wich are no longer usualy considerd canon. I am going to put the original Japanese story ( wich is quite diffrent ) there instead.

So I see but I took the story from the manual of my European copy. I fail to see much difference with the Japanese story, except some talk of Vector's pilgrimage. What's important is that Carnival Island brought the Chaotix together. Maybe their motives to visit the island are different but it's irrelevant. My history was perfectly acceptable in that respect. I suppose I *could* mention Charmy's quest for flowers but if you really want it there put it in their individual biographies --Steerpike Sep 22, 2005

Separate Articles

You know, I believe that Vector, Charmy, and Espio should have a separate article. They could still be here, but just shortened and redirected to a main article. I think they could have so much more information, but they're restricted in a group article (which is kind of like saying they're minor characters).

So does anybody have any objections to me making a full article for each of those three? --anon

I added a few interesting yet little known facts about Vector, Espio and charmy taken from the official Japanese Knuckles' Chaotix manual. If i made any spelling errors, then please correct those.

I think a seperate article for each would be cool, though descriptions on the team's appearances as a whole (notably, their dealings in games and comics) should remain here. Quotes

Some of the quotes on this page seems pretty...well...pointless. Like, "Hey, back off" or "Dont let them detect you..." i just dont see how these can be considerd good or memorable quotes in any way. I think im gonna take the liberty to erase some of them.

I noticed there is a category, 'Fictional Ninjas', but I noticed Espio was unlisted. I considered adding him, but I didn't know how to do it so it'd redirect specificly to his section instead of the Chaotix as a whole.

Voices

I made a seperate section for voices, but I could only do some Cut and Pasting from the profiles since I'm not too knowledgeable on that subject. It needs cleaning up. Thanks. --Some girl called Harley.

Espio's Voice Actor

What really bothers me is how Espio's voice actor in Shadow the Hedgehog is often said to be Jason Griffith, even on this very website. Well, the truth is, Griffith only voices Sonic, Shadow and Jet. Espio is played by David Wills, get it? DAVID WILLS! Just because he sounds like Shadow doesn't mean they are the same person. Similarly, Vector is often said to be voiced by Jimmy Zoppi in Shadow, when Zoppi's voice is nowhere in the credits, and it Vector's place reads the name Carter Cathcart. Charmy is a Queen Bee

My Brother who has almost every single Sonic comic showed me a Major typo he ordered this comic and it stated that Charmy was a Queen Bee and becomes Pregnant? I'm not sure if someone edited the comic but it just doesent seem right

That's just wrong. Charmy is a boy, and I HOPE that was a typo. But maybe it was another bee that looked like Charmy? I don't know. What issue was it? Shadoman

I think it was issue 156 (bees vs. Wasps) we bought it at some dealer on the internet he/she may have edited it I dont know

Actually, I thought there was a female bee that looked similar to Charmy, and she seems to like Charmy. Maybe the comic book was talking about the female bee, but accidentally put Charmy's name (cause the female bee is a princess, I think). I forgot the bee's name, though. --anon

Archie never featured a bees vs wasps thing (#156 was about Sally being forced into marriage with a backup story about Dulcy), and there was never anything about a pregnant Queen Bee. Also, Saffron is Charmy's girlfriend and childhood friend. She wasn't a princess. Sounds like someone's making stuff up.

I haven't read it. *Throws as common sense as I can* Today, we hear a LOT about pregnant teens. There's not much on Bee, but maybe he has a sister?

What About Archimedes?

I think Archimedes from the Archie Comics seires should be added to the list of members in other medias. He was basically a member of the Chaotix for as far as I read in the Sonic (and Knuckles) comic continuity, even if he classified himself as "merely a mentor". I haven't touched the comics in years, so as far as I know he's no longer with the Chaotix on a regular basis, but if Nack and Ray are allowed on the list, then I think Archimedes being counted as a member is more than exceptional. Though, like I mentioned previously, it's been a while since I picked up the comics, so if anyone who is more familiar with the current comic continutity could support/refute this and/or add a section on Archimedies to this entry, it would be much appreciated. --Thores 04:31, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Chaotix Speed

I am doubtful that Vector can run as fast as Espio. The most likely theroy for Sonic Heroes is the Speed character dosen't run at top speed so the other characters can catch up.

PS. I noticed that some Sonic Heroes pics still remain. This is good as I think the Shadow The Hedgehog chars art seem expressionless somehow, i dunno they just look weird rossy 10:26, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Eventual Article Split

Should we start making moves towards making seperate articles for Espio, Vector and Charmy? There's more than enough character details and background in their current entries to warrant it. Just a thought. -- Danish Ranger

The others who posted here may have changed their minds in that time so i hope you didn't just include them in yourself. Charmy as a bee

Is it worth noting that the only purpose of male bees (drone) is to procreate with queen bees, they have no stinger, and are normally kicked out of the hive to freeze to death when winter comes, which contradics Charmy having a stinger.

Mighty the Armadillo

It is important to note that Mighty plays an important role as a Chaotix member in both comic book universes, it is also kinda wrong that Mighty gets removed from the Chaotix games members section while Heavy & Bomb and other characters in other universe sections (like Rouge and Nack) stay. I think a former members subsection featuring only links to the characters should be created if the former members do not deserve to get their own paragraph in this article. Espio in Sonic Rivals 2

Ah, so the cat's out of the bag. Chaotix have officially returned to the series again. Well, okay, so not all of them have just yet, though the others are likely to. Whatever the case, apparently Espio is a playable character in Sonic Rivals 2. Gamespot just released a new hands-on article and a bunch of screenshots, and Espio is in one of the screenshots. Why don't we have Espio's SR2 art, Vectors MASATOG art? I'm sure Charmy has new art too. Shouldn't we use their new art instead of the SC art?-SLJCOAAATR
