== re: Superbowl XLII ==

I don't think I'm the one to ask as I only added a very quick fact to the article. I know the talk page is semi-protected, but is it letting you add messages to that? (It probably should as semi-protection usually only blocks edits from editors registered in the last week or so, at least it did when it was first implemented.) That's where I'd go. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. [[User:Y0u|Y0u]] | [[User talk:Y0u|Y0ur talk page]] 03:39, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Atheism

Please do not change or remove other users' comments, as you did on Talk:Atheism. thanks. bikeable (talk) 20:13, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Applogies for that, I did revert my edit, though I forgot to remove this warning. You will see by my edit summary (broke link?) that I was not thinking straight, and it was an honest mistake. Please message me via my talk page rather than my userpage in future. Sorry and thankyou. — jacĸrм (talk) 05:18, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I noticed you recently added {{GA}} to the Talk page of A.S. Roma. However, it appears you were trying to nominate the article. If so, you have to follow this procedure and wait for someone to review it. Best, Fvasconcellos (t·c) 00:24, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pippo Inzaghi

Thanks for fixing my mistake. I thought he'd surpassed the record but found out he'd only tied it after I edited. Oops! Beemer69 04:56, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Sexual Eruption.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Sexual Eruption.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:03, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Sexual Eruption.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Sexual Eruption.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:34, 10 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Admc2006 (talk) 17:34, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cashis

Hi Udonknome, the correct title is "Cashis" instead of "Ca$his". The dollar sign is just there for decoration. WP:NAME#Music says to not replicate stylised typography. If you any questions, just leave a message. Thanks. Spellcast (talk) 02:01, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please read the the above link. You've been told what the manual of style is. If you move it back to the incorrect title, you will be blocked. Spellcast (talk) 02:36, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the heads up on 'N Sync. I've moved it back to the correct title. And apologies if I came off harsh with the block warning. Also, I realise no-one has welcomed you yet so...

Yo homie, I feel you, but soundtracks are named that way almost always. For instance, check out Harry Potter soundtracks, or others. Also the article is also about More Music from 8 Mile so naming the article "Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture 8 Mile" would be just inappropriate. Adoption Request

Hello, Udonknome, its flattering that you would ask me to adopt you. Right now I already have a user I have adopted and I am kind of busy. I don't think I can handle a full adoption. However, I would be pleased to be available to you to answer any questions you might have. I'll try to watch your user talk page and say something if need be. Please, always ask any question you wish at my talk page. -JodyB talk 12:14, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:34, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking of ACC

Hi, Udonknome. Per the Manual of Style for disambiguation pages (MOS:DAB#Individual_entries), there should only be one navigable (blue) link per entry and the associated description should be kept to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link. So, I have rolled back your last edits to ACC. Best wishes. -Gwguffey (talk) 14:19, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Lost In London

Eminem is Back

The article was speedied after a brief discussion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Eminem_is_Back_(2nd_nomination). Per WP:MUSIC, "...albums or songs must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines. In general, if the musician... is considered notable, then officially released albums may have sufficient notability.... Demos, mixtapes, bootlegs and promo-only records are in general not notable; unreleased albums may not yet be notable without substantial coverage from reliable sources."

The article did not assert notability and lacked "substantial coverage from reliable sources." That was the reason for the first deletion.

This deletion was a Speedy G4: "Recreation of deleted material. A copy, by any title, of a page deleted via a deletion discussion, provided the copy is substantially identical to the deleted version and that any changes in the recreated page do not address the reasons for which the material was deleted."
