The 2002 Canadian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on June 9, 2002 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Race Michael Schumacher took yet another win in the 2002 season, although he didn't have it all his own way with Montoya reeling him in, but unfortunately for the Colombian his engine expired just when he was looking menacing.
Rubens Barrichello reckoned he had a good chance of winning the race but was compromised when the safety car came out early when Jaques Villeneuve's car broken down and stopped in a dangerous place.
David Coulthard fought valiantly to take second holding off Barrichello's charge near the end.
