I am a research psychologist at the [http://www.psychol.cam.ac.uk/lara/ Laboratory for Research into Autism (LaRA)], in the [[University of Cambridge]]. My [[Doctor_of_Philosophy|PhD]] examined the use of linguistic context by children with [[autism]], and I now work for [[Kate Plaisted|Dr Kate Plaisted]] on a range of investigations into the cognitive mechanisms that underlie autism. I have additionally worked for [[Nick_Mackintosh|Professor Nick Mackintosh]], examining sex differences in the way in which people solve the [[Raven's Progressive Matrices|Raven's Matrices]] (a form of [[Intelligence_quotient|IQ test]] widely used by employers and educational institutions).

I am a product manager at University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), an exam board offering school qualifications to students all around the world. Previously, I was a research psychologist at the Laboratory for Research into Autism (LaRA), also in the University of Cambridge, and additionally worked on a number of investigations that explored the nature of many psychometric tests. I remain a chartered psychologist and chartered scientist.

Outside of work, I enjoy cycling in the East Anglia area, spending time with friends in local pubs, and am the lighting designer for many of Ely Cathedral's after-dark events.
