I'm just curious what the source is for the appeal of Ellard's third trial that's included on this page....if someone could please provide me with a source, that would be wonderful because I can't seem to find a record of it in any legal database, aside from an appeal where Ellard was assigned counsel for the purpose of a future appeal. Thanks in advance. Legalresearcher123 (talk) 00:23, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

However, Warren Glowatski has his own page. Considering the 4th trial for Ellard is about to start and she has been the main media focus, there needs to be a page for her or the Warren Glowatski page should also redirect (since the murder of Reena Virk and subsequent trials are the only thing he is notable for). --198.162.133.115 (talk) 15:38, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Bold textItalic textYou know what? I think the girls and boy responsible for Reena Virk's death should stay in jail until they die a death of old age. And that they should never see the light of day again. They are evil, cruel, and demonic monsters.

I agree about Kelly Ellard being smug. Have you seen her drawings? Check out CTV news and type in "Kelly Ellard". You will likely find them there. She is nuts! She drew a picture of a girl(not Reena Virk) with her hair on fire. This was before the tragic death of Reena Virk. She also drew a picture of a police officer being shot!
She should never be released. Obviously, she is a threat to society. Remember when she and another girl assaulted a woman at a New Westminister park?
Reena Virk's parents wanted Glowatski to be released on parole. They have forgiven him for his part of Virk's murder. I find that puzzling. Would you ever forgive someone if they killed your daughter?
I liked the Warren Glowatski article. However, shouldn't the Kelly Ellard article be longer? Warren Glowatski isn't well known to the public as Kelly Ellard is.

I did consider making the Kelly Ellard article longer, however, there isn't much information regarding her personal life. So I felt a short article with emphasis on her 3 trials would be enough. The murder is described enough in the two other articles. I mean, each one is interrelated with one another. I thought the new book, about the case, "Under the Bridge", would have more information on her personal life but it did not. It did have a lot of information on Warren, so I decided to include that info in the article about him. The book said Kelly lived with her biological mother, step-father, and an older brother. Warren came from a poor family and so he was easier to convict. Kelly's family had enough money to hire crafty lawyers that's why she had so much opportunities to fight the charges.
She definitely is sick. I found an article that says she might be moved to Nova Scotia and housed in a maximum security woman's prison. That tells me she's a danger even in prison. [1] That woman who was in the company of Kelly Ellard was also pregnant. I couldn't believe it a pregnant woman beating up a senior. I don't understand why the Virks forgive Warren either. In my opinion, he should rot in jail as well. TripleH1976 11:47, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reena Virk's headshot picture.

I think Reena Virk's headshot should be displayed. I think it is important to know what she looked like. If the Kelly Ellard article had her picture, why not Reena's?

It did exist at one point, until this person, User talk:Adnghiem501, decided to remove it due to copyright violation. I didn't wanna argue(done so enough times with him), so I simply let it go. He obviously doesn't live in Canada, otherwise he would have known it was the only picture of her released by her family and placed in all types of media. Kelly Ellard admitting to murder?

Look at this site at CTV: New trial..., now click on the video section. Once the video screen pops up, go to full screen mode. Go around 0:40 seconds and you will hear a reporter asking Kelly Ellard(who is seen walking to court with her parents) "Kelly, did you kill Reena Virk?". Ellard replies, "Obviously". Could she be admitting to murder? Or is the media twisting things around to make it sound like she confessed to the murder of Reena Virk?

Thanks, I saw the video. The audio isn't the best, so it sounds unclear as to what they asked her. To me, it sounded like she was asked her, "Do you feel(compassion) for the Virks? And she replies, "obviously". I tend to believe that was the question. I don't know I could be wrong. TripleH1976 12:31, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

She said something like "No, but obviously I'm going to be convicted anything so what does it matter"

My god, what type of sicko would really do this to a human being. I've been researching bullying and this just tops the list of what you can do. Although Warren said he was "remosful", i believe he deserves what he got. A life sentance will do him good.
