Titan and Europa

When the Sun turns into a red giant, Titan may retain its atmosphere. This is a surprising result, but it follows from the known properties of red giant. They, in fact, emit little ultraviolet radiation, which is the main heater of the upper atmosphere. It is the hot thermosphere that is the main reason, why the gases escape from the planetary atmospheres. In addition, the red giant wind, while dense, is slow, and the pressure it puts on the atmosphere will not be too strong.

As to Europa, it is not known whether it will have atmosphere in the future. It depends on available volatile gases. Currently only water can be hypothesized to be present in any future atmosphere. Ruslik (talk) 08:49, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Now, Titan have an orange atmosp, it's sky is orange-brown. When the sun becomes a giant in 6-7 billioon years, Titan will lose at least 99% of it's atmosp, perhaps decline to the level fo Mars right now. Titan's atmospheric will be very thin by then by solar wind. Even when Titan heats up, it will only attain the surface temp. neccess to support life. For Europa, it'lacks atmosp, I doubt it have magnetic fiel to trap atmosp, I doubt it will ever get atmosp, so it will just turn from white ice straight to desert like Mercury at late afternoon, I guess 400 F, and Titan might have equilivalent to Mars temp at -15?F/C--Freewayguy 22:11, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

The skies are blue due to Raleigh scattering of light in the atmosphere. So, absent any additional absorption, the sky color is blue on any planet. Ruslik (talk) 08:36, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Pluto and Mars

Pluto's tilt is 119 degrees, which means that it rotates in the retrograde direction. However sometimes it is said that the tilt is 60 degrees meaning that it is measured form the different pole. Ruslik (talk) 10:22, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Mars can acquire a more substantial atmosphere, when the Sun brightens, because it has large reserves of carbon dioxide frozen and buried on the poles and under the ground. This is incivil. I understand that there are users on Wikipedia whom you may not like (there are a few I don't care for too), you may be sick of him, but since we all have to work together on this project we cannot afford to insult one another. No matter what he's doing; you need to stay civil at all times. IA brand

The link that's cited says 2003-04-15, but the Iowa DOT have taken all of the Type-A shield plans off of their website, so that's why it's hard to find a current plan. Uranus and Neptune may not be affect since it is so far away from sun. I didn't make too many errors, Scott gave me the site to find DOT contractions. I hadn't made any slurs so far, so shorten my block. Georgia they even said GDOT on Wiki page in bold. It' tough to memorize allnames. This page can help me find right names. I don't mena to make mistake, I did click link, then alternate name is boldface. No purpuso for infinite block I'm sorry I don't have enough experince, I wish I do, I wish I'm a better contributor, but the language structur and organization ideas is too tough for me. Question: Just for now it's not a good idea. If I prive my English skill will improve, can we unblock? So English skill has came to a point becomes a problem like bad gramar. It's tough to change.
