Call and Response: The Remix Album is an album by Maroon 5, released on December 9, 2008. It features remixes of hit singles and tracks from Maroon 5's first two studio albums Songs About Jane and It Won't Be Soon Before Long by various artists and producers.

  • A remix "If I Never See Your Face Again" by Cross contains an uncredited sample of "Take Me To The Mardi Gras" by Bob James. The same sample was also used for Run DMC's Peter Piper.

Critical

Giving the album at B+, Entertainment Weekly said that "The L.A. quintet makes it work on Call and Response: The Remix Album, letting those unusual suspects--along with hitmakers like Mark Ronson and Pharrell Williams--play with their master tapes."[2]
