one last thing. H2 is what the sequel is being called now. but you said to wait until they officially make a title. how will we know if it's official? Zombie or Akkad will announce it right? it seems like they are sticking with H2 for now. everything including Zombie is saying its called H2. I'm waiting for a announcement too but even Fandango (i know they just sell tickets and follow the filmmakers orders) is calling it H2. if we get to August and there's no announcement does that mean its going under H2?--[[User:VampireKen|Darkness2light]] ([[User talk:VampireKen|talk]]) 02:07, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Friday the 13th FA possibility

Hello, I noticed your request for Peer review! In addition to replying, I noticed that, as an avid horror fan, this article has plenty of opportunity. How would you like to work together on the article to help promote it? Do you have much time in the future? Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 22:07, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops, my fault. XD Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 23:38, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Since you requested "problems" with the article, here goes ,in order of importance (Sorry for the incomplete state; I've gotta run. Will finish when I come back):

Content

  • On hold Expand "Impact" section-relatively stubby.
    • Good luck...
  • Explain the individual documentaries (explain) a bit more...
  • Suggest rewording/rephrasing of lead paragraph:

"The franchise mainly focuses on the fictional character of Jason Voorhees, who drowned at Camp Crystal Lake as a boy due to the negligence of the teenage counselors. Decades later, the lake is rumored to be "cursed" and is the setting for a series of mass murders. Jason is featured in all of the films, either as the killer or as the motivation for the killings. The original film was written by Victor Miller, and was produced and directed by Sean S. Cunningham; later films brought in others for these positions."

*Slight factual errors-the "girls" are actually the counselors.

    • Just Fixed.

Copyedit Mistakes

*"Friday the 13th is considered one of the most successful media franchises in America thanks to the success of the films, but also because of the comic books, expansive merchandising that includes various toylines, video games, soundtrack releases and references in popular culture."-Never user "thanks to"; too informal.

    • Fixed
  • "The film series was never favored by critics, but still became a financial success at the box office." -Redundant
    • Fixed
  • Numerous copyedit mistakes in the "Overview" section
    • Fixed

Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 22:57, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, in response to the specificity of the documentaries, I would suggest expanding what you mean; for example, one of them, Making Friday the 13th: The Legend of Camp Blood, doesn't have an article of its own; consequently, without creating an entire new article, you have to "make up" for the article. Delve into how the documentary rolled, give a brief (but full) overview about what's covered, that sort of thing. Sorry for the ambiguity; I just had to finish off my Calc. homework :/ Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 23:11, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, my apologies; I thought it was a relatively good and acceptable references, in which case it wouldn't be OR. And yes I know about WP:N; that was the reason I didn't suggest you start the article. :P Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 23:35, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

H2 images

Here you go:http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=126058318&blogId=473281834--Darkness2light (talk) 20:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think Michael got Laurie--Darkness2light (talk) 20:55, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote this earlier but exited without saving. I think Mike will be brought to the hospital morgue and as they are doing an autopsy he jumps up grabs a scalpel and starts killing people. There was something else I wrote but i forgot what it was. but i noticed tonight as i was watching the 2007 movie that when Mike grabs laurie's wrist the skin color of his hands are black. It probably (most likely is) a stuntman. oh i remember, Zombie says this film will be "realistic" and very violent, that's some info we might be able to use when a H2 article is created or you could add it onto the franchise page since it is describing how the film will be.--Darkness2light (talk) 02:38, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He released 4 photos. do you know if the other three made it off of myspace?--Darkness2light (talk) 03:22, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

yeah, I just wanted to check. the others aern't major if you haven't seen them. One is his directing chair, another is Haddonfield. there is only three. the third is the one that is noted.--Darkness2light (talk) 03:31, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He posted another picture of Laurie's face cut up. People were wondering who was playing Laurie so he posted a close up. It's on myspace though but just if you wanted to check it out i could give you the link. If its not on other horror sites.--Darkness2light (talk) 20:50, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Miner(or) items

LOL, to tell you the truth, I didn't realize it myself, but hey...that works. lol. --Hunter Kahn (talk) 23:07, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, if you really feel strongly about it and want to change some back, I won't hold it against you or the GAN. But I'm a reporter in real life, and we're taught not to use anything other than "said" because oftentimes you are inadvertently assigning emotions to the statement, which raises neutrality issues. In reality, I understand things like "Stated" and "claimed" and "replied" aren't really a problem, but I prefer the consistency with "said" rather than the other words; from a stylistic point too, I just don't like them much. But again, if you want to add some of them back, by all means go ahead and I won't hold it against you. --Hunter Kahn (talk) 23:27, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ok, done. The article is in very good shape, it shouldn't take long to address the suggestions in the review page. Then it'll be ready to go. Nice work! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 23:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • It's passed. That has to be the fastest GAN review I've ever done. Nice work! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 03:05, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

F13 Sequel

Someone added that there will be a sequel to the new F13. I got rid of the section because there was no refs and like the halloween article if there is a sequel coming out it should go on the franchise page. maybe someone could look up on Shock til you drop if there is a sequel--Darkness2light (talk) 17:37, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I heard they were making a new Freddy vs Jason as the sequel so we will have to look into this and confirm there is a sequel announcment.--Darkness2light (talk) 17:49, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Bay or one of the other producers stated in an interview with Ign that they were going to make the new F13 and a new Elm Street and then due to the battle between Freddy and Jason being in the end which disappointed the audience and fans they were going to re-do Freddy vs Jason with the battle taking place over the course of the movie. I'll look it up when I get the chance. As for New line, They are still around. The new F13 said New line in the opening as one of the distributors. also I believe it is only a small division of Warner bros similar to Dimension being a smaller division of Miramax.--Darkness2light (talk) 01:09, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unaltered Mask

The Halloween 4 article is in bad shape and im fixing it up, do you know if an unaltered 1975 William Shatner mask was used in a scene? I would go watch it but i need refs. Im not to sure which website could be a good ref.--Darkness2light (talk) 22:35, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

is this ref ok to use: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095271/trivia--Darkness2light (talk) 01:32, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
