Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Phl logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:40, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Phl logo1.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Phl logo.jpg. The copy called Image:Phl logo.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. An image that you uploaded, Image:Great event.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thanks for uploading Image:Bangalore Lions.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --15:10, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sushilkumarmishra, I've removed your edits to the sub-section Confessions of Captured Terrorist on Camera as this information already exists in the sub-article, and the policy of the existing page is to provide a summary of the topic, not to go into details (which should be left to the sub-articles). Please post a comment on the talk page discussion before making any further edits to the above sub-section. Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 09:13, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected vandalism - Your removal of text and source

I've reverted your unexplained deletion of text and a reliable source from the article Defence Research and Development Organisation, similar removals at Integrated Guided Missile Development Program, and at Arjun (tank).

Your removals are very troubling. There must be very good reasons to remove sourced information; instead of giving good reasons, your either provided no reason at all, or you claimed (in your edit summaries) to be removing vandalism or "topic not related to artical". This is blatantly false; what you removed was in no way vandalism.

If you do this again, you may be blocked from further editing. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 22:44, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:46, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It seems some of the material you reverted was referenced to reliable sources, such as Asia Times Online. What in particular did you find troubling with that information? Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 03:18, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

help

well i find you to be member of wiki-military project and you yourself says that articals about military in subcontinent are joke.so why dont you try to correct them because when i try to correct those some stupid wiki-adminstrator doesnt allow me to by saying those lines carry referances it doesnt matter to them wheather those referances are neutral or from enemy nation's based websites. I believe you can help in this because its not those articals which are joke but its whole wikipedia which is a joke by allow such things(allowing non-neutral referances) to happen.(Sushilkumarmishra (talk) 13:27, 19 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Firstly, most of the leaders of the wikiproject aren't too bothered by POV, nor the self-proclaimed leadership of Wikipedia, they don't care about anything really except publicity stunts. Firstly I don't know about these events in Indian history in specific detail but enough to know of specific editors who do nothing except post rubbish. If you want help then you can ask me here. Yes Wikipedia history articles are a joke. I would not believe any Wikipedia history article written by an Asian, frankly. YellowMonkey (cricket calendar poll!) 01:00, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I know some arbitrators who think that LTTE mouthpieces are RS. It's a farce really. All you have to do is wiki-procreate and get the more people on your ethnic side and you can put any old thing in there. There are a lot of LTTE guys out there training up their friends to come here and push POV. Sometimes there are 10 guys from teh same city and they all know the rules and how to bend and selectively quote them as soon as they arrive.
