Prof. K. V. Thomas ((Kuruppasserry Varkey Thomas, (Malayalam: കുറുപ്പശ്ശേരി വര്‍ക്കി തോമസ്‌)) (born 10 May, 1946) is an India politician hailing from Kumbalangi in Ernakulam District, Kerala, India. He is currently the Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Minister of State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, a member of the Indian Parliament and a member of All_India_Congress_Committee (since 1984). He represents Ernakulam parliment cosistuency in 15th Lok Sabha of India.
