Sorry you had to wait so long, but, no, I don't think so. It's just a great name, from a certain philosophical point of view.[[Special:Contributions/72.199.110.160|72.199.110.160]] ([[User talk:72.199.110.160|talk]]) 12:04, 14 June, 2009.

Watchlist

If you don't know about the watchlist already, I strongly suggest learning to use it--it will make it much easier to track changes to articles and pages you are interested in, and it also covers talk pages. You can set it up so that by default it adds any page you edit to your watchlist (you can remove them later). Welcome to the project! TallNapoleon (talk) 21:49, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there

Reliable Source Help

Hi Pelagius1, I responded to your query on my talk page. --Karbinski (talk) 14:55, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Debate on cross-talk page

Hi, Pelagius1. I just deleted the most recent comments made by Neil Parille‎ and yourself on the Objectivism cross-talk page. I had previously left Neil a message encouraging him to remove his comments because they were inappropriately focused on debating the subject matter. Unfortunately, he did not do so before you saw them and responded. So rather than let the cross-talk page get taken totally off track, I deleted both his comment and your reply. I explained this on the cross-talk page also, but thought I owed you the courtesy of a direct explanation. --RL0919 (talk) 16:05, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Template:Objectivism and Ayn Rand Cross Talk, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines.

Pelagius, I strongly encourage you to review Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, especially with respect to "close relationships" and consider whether it is appropriate for you to be involved in the discussion about PARC at all.
