Dr. Erika Schwartz, is the leading national expert in the field of bioidentical hormone therapies, wellness and true disease prevention. She has authored four best selling book, is an Extra Lifechanger, bylined in the Wall Street Journal[1], international speaker and TV personality.

A cum laude graduate, AOA honor society member, from SUNY- Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Erika trained at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY in Internal Medicine and Critical Care

Upon completion of her postgraduate training, at the age of 28, Dr. Erika became the first woman and youngest doctor to be named Director of Emergency Medicine at Westchester County Medical Center- New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.

Since the start of her distinguished career, Dr. Erika has been committed to empowering patients and teaching physicians compassion alongside with scientific and clinical information.

Early Life and Education

Dr. Erika grew up in a one-room apartment in Bucharest, Romania, an only child who by the age of five dreamed of being a doctor just like her uncle in [[United States|America].

Her family escaped Ceausescu’s Communist stronghold when she was 16, and she arrived in Rome speaking four languages though none of them English.

Erika came to the US after graduating from the Overseas School of Rome and was accepted to NYU on a full academic scholarship. She received her MD from SUNY-Downstate College of Medicine, graduating cum laude, as a member of the prestigious AOA academic honor society.

In her last year of medical school, she was hand picked to be an Intern in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital, the second largest county hospital in the US and main affiliate of Downstate College of Medicine, where she completed her training in Internal Medicine and Critical Care.
