Dustie Waring

Dustie "Dustball" Waring is the rhythm guitarist for Between the Buried and Me, a North Carolina, Progressive Metal band. Joining in early 2005, after replacing former guitarist Nick Fletcher. Although he does contribute lead parts in select songs off studio albums Alaska, The Anatomy Of and Colors, he is most noted for creating ambience effects and accurately sustaining complex rhythms. Heavily influenced by bands such as Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, and Dream Theater, Dustie Waring is a self taught guitar player, mainly learning off instructional videos and by ear. He also is the guitar player for another North Carolina based metalcore band Glass Casket in which he is known for performing precise leads and melodic passages, and proving to be an outstanding guitarist. He, like the other members of Between the Buried and Me, is a vegetarian.[1]
