Romeo's Career

Romeo began his touring career with Vesta Williams as a background vocalist and dancer. He also played Bass Guitar and Bass Synthesizer for Jody Watley. Romeo's popularity began to grow as he played Bass Guitar and sang two duets with Sheena Easton. Janet Jackson selected Romeo as her first ever Male vocalist on the “janet” Tour, and on that tour Romeo was appointed background section leader. Romeo also toured with Millie Jackson, Rahsaan Patterson, Rufus, Teddy Riley & GUY (section leader/background vocalist), Blackstreet, Patti Austin, and Queen Latifah (section leader/background vocalist) and the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson. In between touring Romeo works as a session vocalist on sound recordings with such greats like, Kanye West 808’s & Heartbreak “, Ice Cube "Raw Footage, Snoop Dogg “Ego Trippin”, Stevie Wonder “A Time 2 Love”, Smashmouth, Nate Dogg, Xzibit “Man vs. Machine”, Macy Gray “Time of My Life” song featured on the "8 Mile" movie soundtrack, Mack 10 “Bang Or Ball”, George Howard “Attitude Adjustment”, James Ingram “It's Real”, Jennifer Holliday “I'm On Your Side”.
