"Miss World"
Song
B-side"Rock Star, Do It Clean (live)"

Miss World is the first single by the band Hole from their album Live Through This. Apart from the cover version of Echo & the Bunnymen's "Do It Clean", the songwriting credits goes collectively to Hole, although according to BMI's website, both Miss World and Rock Star were written only by leader Courtney Love and guitarist Eric Erlandson.

Trivia

The music video of "Miss World" features the band on stage performing, with the phrase "Cleanliness is next to godliness" above them. The phrase is also a line of the song "Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins, a band which Hole guitarist Melissa Auf der Maur played in after Hole broke up.
