Aneek Dhar

Aneek Dhar (Bengali:অনীক ধর, Devanāgarī: अनीक धर, born in 26 April 1989) is an Indian singer who won the regional spin off singing competition, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla, and won Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 at the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 Grand Finale on 13 October 2007, attaining first place with 3,65,89,134 votes.

Biography

His Memories: "I remember two incidents vividly. First when I won the Saregamapa Bangla contest and second, when I proposed to my girfriend".

First Love: "When I was in 11th grade, I used to like this girl called Deboparna, perhaps she was my first love and of course, music". Aneek's 1st love was always Sukanya, a girl whom he loved when he was in 8th grade according to some sources.

• Winner of Saregamapa 2007 challenge where he was representing Himesh Reshammiya's Rock Gharana.
• winner of nalandasree competition 8 times in a row (1998-2006)

Early years

Aneek resides in Lake Gardens suburb of south Kolkata and is a student of Nava Nalanda High School in Kolkata. During his free time, he plays Cricket and listens to music.

Happenings

He recently came out with his first solo album named "Khwahishein" which was a great hit. The title song Khwahishein gained the most popularity. He is currently singing for a Bengali movie starring West Bengal superstar Prosenjit.

He is currently in the show Music Ka Maha Muqqabla on Star Plus. He is playing on Shreya Ghoshal's Team Shreya's Superstars.
