Trivia

  • Karla Andrade Vásquez withdrew her participation at Miss Ecuador because she suffered an accident and broked her leg.

Most people, however, attribute her injury to her severe overweight. After she recovers from the injury she has declared her intention to be the first Latino contestant of the famous reality show "The Biggest Loser". This show is not based on appearance of the contestants, so it is expected that she may have a good chance of making it at least to the finals. She has declared intense admiration for the late Anna Nicole Smith who became famous as a plus-size model before her tragic demise.
