Killer Movie is a comedy horror film released in the United States in April 2008.[2] The film premiered during the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.[3] It stars Paul Wesley, Kaley Cuoco, Torrey DeVitto and Leighton Meester and was written and directed by Jeff Lawrance Fisher.[4]

Plot

The movie centers around a film crew shooting about a small town hockey team's big time games. Soon, killings start happening in the small town, starting with such deaths as the former hockey coach's daughter and the cheerleading coach. The filming crew, with Jake Tanner and Blanca Champion starring as the celebrity hosts, soon start to become prey to this killer. Over the course of the film, it is revealed that the killer is using lipstick cameras to spy on the unwitting crew, having stolen them from their equipment stash prior to the movie it is assumed.

After much of the crew is killed, the remaining three members of the crew make their way back to their cabin. They find video equipment set up with a portable dvd devices of some sort set up. They play it, and it reveals footage of each of the crews horrible murders on it. The three, along with Jake's dog, travel to the high school, where Blanca and the dog go inside in order to call for help on the CB radio while the other go to see if Daphne, who was abducted by the killer, was still alive.

While all this is going on, it is shown that Phoebe is attacked by the killer in a local store. She manages to escape to outside the high school where Blanca, the dog, and the young boy, find Daphne's dead body on the wall of the school gym. They journey to the office, where Blanca accidentally shuts the door and locks herself in, telling the boy to run for help. The boy eludes the killer and goes for help.

Phoebe is then killed by the killer in front of the window of the room Blanca is locked in. Back at the killer's hideout, Jake trips a bear trap that the killer set, and Keir runs to go help Blanca, saying they'll come back for him as he is trapped. She floors it to the school, where Blanca was spotted by the killer, who was revealed to have an obsession with her. She escapes from her room through a fire escape hatch on the floor.

Blanca is pursued by the killer, who she unmasks to reveal the psycho 'sound guy'. He is then attacked by Keir with a shovel, but he manages to elude her strike and stab her (though he doesn't kill her). Then, the boy, the coach's high school son, and Jake, arrive on the scene together and shoot the killer who is presumed dead.

The police show and wrap the killer's body in a body bag, leaving the young boy, the coach's son, Keir, Blanca, and Jake, alive. It is revealed by the dog, who goes over to the body bag, that the killer was wearing a bullet proof vest. The killer escaped into the vast woods around the small town, ending the movie with the survivors wondering and fearing a return.
