Day 1 - Portsmouth
The series started off with Brendan describing how exciting the new series will be with it being 50 days and the places that they will visit. The coach started in Croydon, London. With the coach heading off to Portsmouth, the general reaction from the trippers was disappointment as in previous series the coach normally heads straight off to Europe. On the way, some couples introduced themselves with Ray telling all about his hobby - equestrianism - which was perceived as boring. The first activity was to go to the Spinnaker Tower which overlooked the docks. This is where Danny shared a joke about dry docks with Ray about dry docks. However, Ray didn't get the joke and instead shared his knowledge about dry docks with Danny and his partner, Carol. Again, Danny found this boring. The younger passengers walked across the walk of death with Tam and Brendan doing a roll across it. Many of the couples found the tower boring. In between the activities, Brendan gave the couples their last British meal which was fish and chips the same cuisine as Blackpool, Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Dawlish, Scarborough and Porthcawl. The second activity was sailing. Jenny didn't take part of this activity because she was scared of water. Again, most of the contestants didn't find the sailing activity exciting. At the vote, Ray and Glenys got the most votes mainly because they didn't get to know the others.

Template:Big Brother housemates Coach Trip 4 is the fourth series of Coach Trip in the United Kingdom which began airing on Monday 15th February, 2010. The show's basic format remained unchanged from the previous series: seven couples of two travelling around Europe on a coach attempting to avoid being voted off the coach by their fellow travellers. The length of this series was longer than the previous installments, increased from 30 days to 50 days for a tour centred on European, Mediterranean, African and West Asian countries. Tour guide Brendan Sheerin, coach driver Paul Donald and narrator David Quantick all returned for this series, which aired on Channel 4. MT09 MTT was the registration number plate.

The Trip Day-by-Day

Day 2 - Caen/Bayeux

The ferry arrived in Saint-Malo early in the day. Some of the couples had hoped they were in Saint-Tropez. The group travelled to a World War II museum in Caen. After Brendan announced this to the group, Jayson and Raymond had a short conversation about who Britain fought in each of the World Wars. At the museum, the group had a look at some of the weapons used during the war and Jayson decided that the Germans had better uniforms for the soldiers than the British. Then, the group travelled in a 1940s war truck around the area.

In the afternoon, the coach travelled to Bayeux, where the couples took part in an archery activity. Most of the group are confused about how to use the bows and arrows. Matt and Paul won an archery competition. Raymond and Glenys received their second yellow card at the vote and were asked to leave the Coach. Glenys was visibly very upset about this and snubbed many of the group's goodbyes, however she later exchanged goodbyes with Madge and Jenny.

Day 3 - Le Mans

The group visited the Le Mans racing circuit home to the famous 24 hour motor racing. The group got asked to leave the racing circuit because of dangerous driving. Brendan' said that "this is the 1st time on The Coach Trip that we got asked leave". The group then went to a stately garden where they tried snails and frog legs. Danny and Carol were awarded the yellow card today.

Day 4 - Chevreuse/Paris Part 1

The group went horse riding in Chevreuse, then arrived in Paris via EuroDisney where they had horsemeat for lunch, which made several people including Brendan uncomfortable. They then learned the Can-Can at a dance club. Jenny and Anne were awarded their first yellow card.

Day 5 - Paris Part 2

The day started with a walk around Paris' streets. Brendan got lost on the way to the Eiffel Tower, but the eventually arrived. Sel has a fear of heights so was scared about going up the tower. They took some pictures of the tower whilst Brendan gave the group some history on it. When they got to the entrance, Brendan had received some priority by going up in a different lift. However, the guides ignored the group a lot and as Brendan said "very unwelcoming." After a long wait they reached the first level of the tower where Sel waited in a Café.

The group were then told that only three people were allowed to the very top floor which again annoyed Brendan a lot. The three chosen to go up were Brenda, Paul and Jenny where the trio described the French people as "bad mannered" and "obnoxious." Shelia went back to Sel and persuaded him to fight his fear of heights and he went to see the view on the first floor of the tower. After that the group headed to a café and purchased hot dogs and baguettes for dinner. They sat down to eat near the Eiffel Tower where Danny proposed to Carol and she said "No." Whilst on their way to their activity Brendan pointed out some landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The group arrived at their activity which was Fencing and were split up into two teams. Danny, Carol, Jayson, Madge, Brenda and Tam were all in the team who won. At the vote with 3 votes against them, Brenda and Madge received their first yellow card.

Day 6 - Chablis

The day started in Chablis with some rock-climbing and then zip wiring for the group. Then they had a picnic and they had some Champagne. Then they go for wine tasting which is less of a success because they all taste the same. At the vote Carol & Danny got another yellow card which turned to a red one so they had to leave the coach.

Day 7 - Dijon

The day started with the trip to Dijon, they had a practise on Segways where people crashed into each other. They then travelled on the Segways to a local restaurant. After that they visited the Moutarde de Dijon where a local man gave information about the mustard making process and the history. Then they visited the actual factory where the mustard is made. In couples, they had to make their own mustard. At the vote Sel & Shelia and Brenda & Madge had 3 votes up which ended up a tie. In the end, Sel and Shelia got their first yellow card.

Day 8 - Lausanne

Anita and Lloyd joined the coach, the group moved from France which was a relief to all of them, their first activity was curling, and Jenna fell over and cracked her skull, luckily no damage as it was mostly air in that melon, the group then had a tour around a medieval castle and had the opportunity to dress up which Jenny did not enjoy, at the voting it was so bloody long for Brenda and Madge.

Day 9 - Saas-Fee

The day started earlier than usual in the morning. On the coach, Brendan introduced the new couple Lloyd and Anita who replaced Carol and Danny. The group travelled to Switzerland for the first time. For the groups first activity Brendan had planned a Cable Car trip up to the very top of the mountain in Switzerland, but because of bad weather they shut all of the Cable Cars and ski area was closed. When the group go for lunch two of tourists got quite drunk and made fools of themselves, Jayson Daniels made a display of tears at missing his boyfriend, revealed on his own blog to be an attempt to hog the cameras and boost his flagging profile as he wants to be a TV Presenter. At the vote Sel & Sheila received another yellow card which turned into a red one so they had say their goodbye's to the rest of the group and leave the coach.

Day 10 - Milan

The day began with Brendan welcoming a new couple, Dean and Jen on to the coach. The coach then travelled to Milan in Italy where the group visited the San Siro football Stadium. They toured the stadium and visited the dressing rooms of Inter Milan and A.C. Milan. After lunch, Brendan took the group into the centre of Milan where the group split into two, where some visited the Milan Cathedral and the others went shopping. At voting time, Jenny and Anne received their second yellow card, giving them a red card resulting in them having to leave the coach.

Day 11 - Lake Garda

The day started with the introduction of the couple replacing Jenny & Anne who were Bruce and John. Brendan announced the destination and the first activity which would be sailing. Unfortunately too the groups disappointment there was little wind resulting in a dull activity. So instead they decided to stay on the ship and chill out. However, after all of the group jumped into the lake apart from Jayson who cannot swim. They then went to a local farm to make fresh Italian ice cream. Before they started, they painted nail varnish onto each other. As the young members of the coach were separate from the others this lead to speculation of a voting alliance by Bruce and John.

The group were then shown a demonstration by a local Italian guide on how to make the ice cream. The boys made Cherry ice cream whilst the girls made chocolate. In the end, Brendan chose the girls' ice cream as the winner. They all tasted each others ice cream whilst Brendan ate all the flavours in the farm. At the vote Dean and Jen received their first yellow card.

Day 12 - Vicenza

The day started off with the group waking up for the first time in a 5 star hotel. Certain members of the group explained at breakfast that there is something going on between Bruce and Jayson. The coach set off with the coach full of balloons, hats and a generally good atmosphere. However, Bruce was not in the mood evident with the comments started. Suddenly Bruce cursed at Jayson, then a fight nearly broke out on the coach between Bruce and Jayson (With Bruce aggresively taking off his seatbelt, slamming his fist on the table, marched up to Tam and Jayson and tried to grab Tam's jumper). The Coach trip production staff had to break up the fight with one member of the production team dragging Bruce away to the back of the coach. The coach had to stop to let Bruce calm down on his own for the other passengers safety. Brendan then approached them wanting him to explain his actions and gave him an automatic red card as Brendan does not tolerate physical and verbal abuse from that Bruce gave to Tam and Jayson.

The group arrived to their activity and introduced the new couple, Mary and Mark. They were shown how to carve stones and the group had a go. They then held a small competition and Dean and Jen won. They then made their way to make grappa, discarded bits from grape making wine. There was a twist to the vote due to the previous events in the day, they had to vote for the most popular couple to win a treat. There was a tie between Jodie & Jenna and Anita & Lloyd they hat to draw straws. The winners in the end were Anita and Lloyd but they let Jenna and Jodie win. They won a penthouse suite with champagne and jacuzzi.

Day 13 - Venice

The day started with Brendan explaining today's destination, Venice. Much of the group were excited about visiting the city. They went on a boat along the rivers of Venice taking pictures and sightseeing, they then walked around Venice's streets and alleyways to the famous bridges and the place where Cassonova was imprisoned. They then had a lesson on gondoliering and travelled in their couples in their own gondolier. Brendan then took the group to the beach for the afternoon where the group chucked brendan into the sea.

The vote was conducted on the coach and couples Anita & Lloyd and Tam & Jayson each got 2 votes against them resulting in a tie. The 2 couples were then led of the coach whilst the other members of the group came to a decision. After discussing who should get the yellow card they couldn't come to a decision and for the first time ever on coach trip, both couples received a yellow card.
