:This was close to being the first page I started. My method was to map a page out with headings, and then slowly start to fill the text in chunk by chunk. Someone objected to this, rightly, and stripped away all the headings, leaving only the rather disconnected text left behind. I've been meaning to get back to this, and probably will some day, but in the meantime it would be great if you wanted to have a crack at it. --[[User:SilasM|SilasM]] 20:26, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

There seems to be a gap here - it jumps straight from his term as A-G to judicial inquiry some ten years later - where is the missing material? Lacrimosus 11:24, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

This was close to being the first page I started. --SilasM 20:26, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Online magazine reference

The source offered did not form any sort of credible description of the event, so I removed it. Slac speak up! 05:46, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed that the source was not a good one, but AFAICT, the facts claimed in the edit were a reasonably accurate description of what was alleged against Murphy. I've re-added most of the claim, minus that source, and clarified what followed. Dates etc come from [1] - I haven't listed that on the article page itself because it only mentions them briefly, while discussing Wran's contempt case for remarks made in relation to Murphy's trials. Anybody less lazy than me can check the archives of any Australian newspaper for coverage of the cases. --Calair 01:10, 29 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
