Dating

We generally don't put gossip or trivial information in articles about people - that is what fan sites are for. For a good reference read WP:BLP for an overview of what bio articles should contain. If this information is covered by sources that meet WP:RS reliable source requirements and we can verify that what is in the article is what the source stated then it might be a good addition to the article. Find a url to a web location that is not a gossip site, a fan site or a blog. A good source will have some statement from one of the principals. It appears that a couple of editors don't want this in the article. Reason is that a declaration of friendship is by the other person and has not been confirmed by Lovato. Philanthropic efforts

I think Demi's philanthropic efforts on behalf of protecting children from domestic violence is definitely worthy of mention. She is listed as a member of the celeb board of governors of Love Our Children USA, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting kids from domestic violence.

Generally, this is considered trivial unless and until it is mentioned by a reliable source that is independent of Lovato and the organization. Basically, celebrities are fairly eager to "sign on" with a non-controversial cause without really doing anything for the cause for PR purposes. To be precise, the origin of the last name is Venetian. Go to this site (http://gens.labo.net/it/cognomi/genera.html) and enter "lovato" under COGNOME in the upper left corner. You will see how this last name is highly concentrated in Veneto. Precisely, it is from the foothills of the Dolomites in Vicenza's province, one hour West from Venice. The original village is "Contrada Lovati" in San Quirico, a fraction of Valdagno (Vicenza). Age & Year Discrepancy (Barney)

She had a role in Barney in 2002 and 2003, and she was born in 1992. Wouldn't this make her between 10 and 11, but not 6? It says she began her acting at the age of six... is there an error somewhere?

At the bottom in her filmogrophy, it says 2002-2003, not 1998... which would mean the year is either wrong, or her age is wrong...

This article above my text is WRONG!! She WAS born in 1992, but her role was in 1999. Which means she WAS 6 or 7 at the time when she was on Barney. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

Where was Demi born

People are saying Dallas, Texas, but on her live chat she said that she was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Also, on the Camp Rock What's What? Edition. It says Demi Lovato plays Mitchie. Albuquerque, New Mexico or Dallas Texas

I'm having a problem. Even though there is a source saying she was born in Dallas, Texas, her live facebook video chat on YouTube said otherwise. See Demi Lovato- Facebook Live Chat Part 1 7/16/09. 4:01 minutes in. Demi Lovato confirms that she was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when a fan asked her if shes ever been to Albuquerque via comment. So she confirmed she was born in Albuquerque, but the source in Early life says she was born in Dallas. Which one is it. Don't you think we should go with Albuquerque because Lovato confirmed it? Albuquerque seems like the correct place to add because Demi herself said that's where she was born. I've seen YouTube videos used as sources/references before, but each time the video was from an official account. Personally, I think it is a pretty good picture overall, and I'm pretty sure it is the best one we have. Images on Wikipedia are restricted in that they must be as freely usable as possible. For pictures of people, this usually means they must be released into the public domain. It's been added; the last sentence of "Personal life" states "On March 12, 2010, Lovato confirmed that she had begun dating Joe Jonas, whom she first met while filming Camp Rock in 2007.". Thank you for providing a source though- that's the most effective way of getting something changed on Wikipedia.

ALL of whom she toured with in '09. justjarredjr.buzznet confirms she is going to souht america in '10. it also confirms that she toured with the above people. also she has performed with Justin Beiber for a few shows so that could also be added to the associated acts. they were talking about performing together on both of their twitters. No. assocaited acts can include one-time acts and co-preformers. but... david and demi are close friends; the same with the lead singer from We The Kings(who should also be in the associated acts) if you note in other wikipedia articles there are people noted in the associated acts that are not close personal friends with the band/singer.
