Merovingian Music also abbreviated as MRV[1] or MRV Music[2], is a non-genre specific record label working closely with Capitol Records and EMI. Founded by the industry veteran Jack Ponti (Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, India.Arie, Boyz II Men ), with former independent label owners Greg Edgerton and Kyle Kraszewski (No Milk Records), MRV prides itself on a traditional marketing mix of radio and TV in-conjunction with the latest online resources and strategies. Merovingian Music has released records from a variety of acts, ranging from Sebastian Bach (orginal voice of Skid Row) to Anthony Hamilton (the Grammy nominated soul singer). In addition to these more established acts, MRV is developing several new and emerging artists such as Runner Runner (former members of Rufio, Over It, and Don't Look Down), Bertell (Bryan-Michael Cox latest artist), Royal Bliss, The Sunstreak, and Big Heed & ALIen.

In addition to the record label, MRV has a management division.[3] Cazzydog Mangment is currently home to the Godfather of Houston, a MC's MC, the infamous Scarface. Other notable acts include the iconic female fronted metal fusion band, Otep.
