Ugu is a town and a nagar panchayat in Unnao district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Geography
Ugu is located at 26°47′N 80°20′E / 26.78°N 80.33°E[1]. It has an average elevation of 128 metres (419 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census[2], Ugu had a population of 6359. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Ugu has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 52%. In Ugu, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
