Route 4, in Ottawa, Canada, is a crosstown bus route, operated by OC Transpo, that runs between Hurdman Station and the Rideau Centre in downtown Ottawa. All trips also serve Carleton University. Just like route 2, the route is not recognized as a rapid transit route by OC Transpo.

Route

Route 4 begins its route at Hurdman and travels along the South-East Transitway until it reaches Billings Bridge. Making its way from Billings, it uses Bronson Avenue (with a small detour to serve Carleton University) until buses reach the Queensway. Once at Highway 417, downtown-bound buses use Chamberlain, while Hurdman-bound buses travel via Catherine. Buses then use Bank Street and Wellington Street to reach the Rideau Centre.

Buses

Route 4 uses both Orion VII diesel-electric Hybrid buses and New Flyer D40i Invero buses (both 40 foot models).
