Michael Raymond-James (born December 24, 1977) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Rene Lenier in the first season of HBO's series True Blood.
Career
Michael started out doing theater and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, with George Loros, Jeffery Horn and Robert Castle.[1]
He has starred in Craig Brewer's Black Snake Moan. He has also guest starred in such series as CSI, NCIS, Medium, Boston Legal, ER and the season two premiere of Lie to Me.
Personal life
James is married to Beth James (born "Elizabeth Victoria Ricigliano" on January 4, 1987 in Manhattan, New York). They were married on March 20, 2004 at 6:00 P.M. in the evening at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Sleepy Hollow, New York, United States.
