Glenn Stewart (born 11 January 1984) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays for Manly Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. Stewart primarily plays in the second-row.

He is the older brother of fellow Manly Sea Eagles player Brett Stewart.

He played in the 2007 NRL grand final defeat to the Melbourne Storm.[1]

He played in the 2008 NRL Grand Final victory over the Melbourne Storm.[2]

In August 2008, Stewart was named in the preliminary 46-man Kangaroos squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup,[3][4] and in October 2008 he was selected in the final 24-man Australia squad.[5]

Following an outstanding season for the Sea Eagles, Stewart was voted the Dally M Second-Rower Of The Year for 2008.

Stewart made his test debut against New Zealand in Australia's opening RLWC 08 game on 26 October playing in the Second-row. He was selected for Australia in the one-off test match against New Zealand on 8 May 2009.[6]

Stewart was to make his State of Origin debut for New South Wales in game 1 of 2009 but was ruled out with injury. He went on to make his debut in game 2 after being selected on the bench.

Currently Stewart is facing a 4-6 week suspension after an incident with Braith Anasta in Round 25 of the 2010 NRL competition whilst playing the Sydney Roosters. If he is to take an early plea, his four week suspension will see him play in the Grand Final if the Manly Sea Eagles make it to the final.
