This is a list of books of poetry by Bangladeshi poets acknowledged as notable by authorities in this field.[1][2][3][4][verification needed]

In 1947 Dhaka became the important centre of art, culture and literature of this area which is known as the then East Bengal. Nowadays, former East Bengal has been emerged as an independent state, Bangladesh. Since then Bangladeshi poetry is being shaped with a separate flavour and identity.
