Lindy Robbins

Lindy Robbins is a songwriter from Los Angeles. She has contributed many recognizable songs to popular culture.

Career

She started singing with her late, gifted musician father Walter Wissman when she was three, and was an acclaimed performer in NYC and LA before becoming a full time songwriter in 1997. Current releases include the current hit single (#1 at Billboard Hot Dance Club Play!) and title track "A Year Without Rain" on the Selena Gomez sophomore release which also includes, "Intuition", four songs on 2010 American Idol winner Lee DeWyze's debut CD, two songs on the Big Time Rush album; "Lost Then Found," recorded by Leona Lewis (featuring One Republic) on her double platinum album, "Echo"; four cuts with American Idol winner Kris Allen; the single "The World is Ours Tonight" by Gloriana, also featured on the 2010 Winter Olympics and Team USA Soundtrack; and "Lovesick," the current single for Emily Osment. Other recent releases include two songs on Demi Lovato's # 1 record Here We Go Again, including the first hit single and title song; five songs on Jordin Sparks top-five sophomore release "Battlefield"; three songs on Selena Gomez & the Scene's top ten record Kiss & Tell; and "Parachutes and Airplanes" on David Archuletta's new 2010 release.
