With respect, the transfer window doesn't open until the end of June, and that's the season crossover date. If you can provide a link to show he's joined permanently, then that's fine, but otherwise we should leave it as loan.

This clearly states that Valero joined on loan for a year. Although he will join Villareal permanently in the summer, he is still technically on loan. Therefore, the article should state that he is on loan.
